The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect - just a short walk into the old town center. You have also a major tram station just around the corner. Just up the street there is a 24hour shop, though we did most of our shopping at the local market at Nowy Kleparz, which is also just around the corner. So, every morning we bought fresh blueberries, wild strawberries, raspberries and kefir for our breakfast...delicious! The other advantage of the location is its safety. We came with our 3 teenagers (used to cows, not cars!), and we could let them walk back to the apartment by themselves at 10pm without any worry whatsoever. The apartment itself is very comfortable and beautifully designed - our kids' response was "Wow, I want to have a flat like that when I move out!" (fat chance, say we). It's a perfect base from which to enjoy Kraków, and we certainly did!
