Question: " What time is check-in and check-out?"

Answer: 13:00 check-in and 12:00 check out. Upon availability and previous notice we are flexible and always try to meet various needs.

Question: " Is the Price per Apartment or per person?"

Answer: You pay for the apartment for the group of up to 4 people. We charge extra little money for each additional person above four. We also have a maximum amount of people who can stay in each apartment. See our rates

Question: "Do all apartments have double beds?"

Answer: All our apartments have both single and double beds.

Question: "Do I get fresh towels, linen and soap?"

Answer: Yes, you do.

Question: "Is breakfast included?"

Answer: No, but there is no need as all apartments have a kitchen, and there are several restaurants in the neighborhood.

Question: "Is there a lift?"

Answer: Usually not. There are no lifts in the Old Town. If you need an apartment with fewer stairs, you can make use of our apartments located on the ground floor.

Question: "Are the apartments near the center?"

Answer: Yes, the apartments are in the center – within short walking distance from the market square - the heart of Krakow.

Question: "Are the apartments safe?"

Answer: Yes. Although Krakow is generally considered to be a safe city, our apartments are located in particularly risk-free neighborhood. Yet, for the comfort of the guests in this Elite apartment, we decided to do a lot more – check it out in Elite apartment description.

Question: "Can I call from the apartment?"

Answer: There is a block on "0". It means that you can make free phone calls around Krakow, but long distance calls are not allowed. However, we can sell you a special pin card for very cheap calls (national, mobile or international).

Question: "How many people can share 1 apartment?"

Answer: up to 7

Question: "Can I reserve a pick-up service from the airport?"

Answer: Yes, you can request our meet-and-greet service in the booking form and we will arrange it for you. Check what extra services we offer.

Question: "Where can I park my car"

Answer: Our Elite apartment has its own, secured basement parking area and we do not charge extra money for this option. You can also park your car outdoors on the pavement free of charge. If you would like to put your car in a secured car park nearby, this will cost around 30PLN (€6) per day.

Question: "How do I pay?"

Answer: A credit card is required to make your reservation. A deposit of 10% to 30 % of the total cost of your stay, will be debited to your card to secure your booking. We also allow banking transfer. Upon your arrival, once you have seen your accommodation, you will pay the remaining amount in cash (USD, Euro, GPB, PLN). WE DO NOT CHARGE THE WHOLE SUM IN ADVANCE.

Question: "What does the check-in look like?"

Answer: At previously arranged time, our representative will await you in your apartment (unless you require meet-and-greet service – see extra services) Check-in is after 12 midday although you may be able to check in earlier if someone checks out before 12 or if the apartment was vacant on the previous night.

Question: "How can I make my reservation with minimum delay?"

Answer: Our booking system is synchronized with the apartment calendar (always up-to-date) and thus allows to see availability and check the price on onlinne price calculator. Once you have filled in and sent  the booking form, you can be almost certain that your booking is provisionally guaranteed. As soon as you have received from us the booking confirmation, your booking will be guaranteed for 24hours. To secure the booking entirely, you must make the payment with the 24 h.

Question: "How do I secure my booking?"

Answer: Like most of accommodation businesses nowadays, we need our bookings to be secured beforehand and for mutually binding reservation require your guarantee. Our booking system is designed to guarantee comfort for both KrakowHomes and our clients. As apartment calendar is always up-to-date and shows current availability and price, the client does not waste time on e-mail exchanges but simply requests the booking. Once we have received and then accepted your request, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with info and a password needed for access to secured payment site, valid for 24 hours. In other words, you have 24 hours to make your final decision. Check for details in BOOKING. We use a 100% secure encrypted connection of major Polish company POLCARD for you to enter your credit card details. For alternative payment methods, contact KrakowHomes.

Question: "Is there any good restaurant nearby with Traditional Polish food in the Old Town?"

Answer: Yes, there are many in the Old Town Square.

 
Question: "What Traditional Polish food is worth tasting in a restaurant?"

CANCELLATION POLICY


We cannot be responsible for bad weather, illness, changes in travel plans or travel delays. In the case that confirmed booking had been made and our clients fail to inform us about their decision to cancel their stay in our apartments prior to 60 days, we unfortunately have to demand partial compensation. The details below are maximum penalties; if possible we prefer to ask for mild compensation as long as we are able to fill the places. However, we tend to be strict in case of no show or any cancellations within high season being the most important time of the year in this business.

FOR CANCELLING A CONFIRMED RESERVATION THERE WILL BE 20% charge of the whole stay APPLIED (CHARGED UPON CANCELLING). Should the cancellation be made already WITHIN the chargeable period, specific cancellation charges will be applied.

charge 50 % of your stay - Cancellation 60 and less days before arrival

In absolute necessity, we reserve the right to change the apartment for an equivalent or better unit.
